Transition Penwith's second "Fair for the Future" was held on September 18 2010 in a field near St Just, Cornwall, UK. It showcased many initiatives which might enable the transition to an economy where oil is much less available. There was a particular focus on children as it is they who, as adults, will largely have to deal with the aftermath of our current way of life.

It was developed with specialists from the Institute of Technical Thermodynamics at the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) and more than 30 scientists and engineers from universities, institutes and the renewable energy industry around the world.
