Need help registering?
By registering online you are not just signing up on a website but joining the definitive membership list for Transition Penwith. Here are some guidelines to make the process as smooth as possible.
1) In the username field above don't put in a nickname but please, instead, supply both your real first and family names (spaces are allowed so please put a space in between). Also provide a valid email address: we'll use this to send you a validation link containing your password for logging in (don't worry, you can change this password later - instructions will be in the email too).
2) In the Contact Details section below please supply as much information as you can. This information will
never be displayed publicly but is for our own records. Remember - we're trying to connect people together so if you want total anonymity this may not be the organisation for you! As a minimum you must put something in the Postcode field. We welcome members from afar who are interested in the activities of Transition Penwith but we are plagued by web robots that are forever putting in fake applications. For this reason if your postcode is outside TR17, TR18, TR19, TR20, TR26, TR27 or TR93 then definitely also fill in the other address fields otherwise your application is likely to be declined.
3) While you're here, select any of the site Groups you would like to join. We have a number of themed groups you may be interested in, plus one - 'TP Community Group' which is a general interest group. By joining a Group, you'll be able to view and contribute to Group-specific Forum discussions. Don't worry, if you're unsure you can join the groups you're interested in later at any time. Some of the groups are more active than others so don't have huge expectations.
3) You can provide some personal information about yourself but this is completely optional.
4) Press the 'Create New Account' button at the bottom of the form.
5) That's it!
