Transition Penwith has just adopted a new constitution which reflects how the organisation has evolved since it started in 2006. 

The Transition Movement is now worldwide, and there are plenty of local transition groups in and around Cornwall.  In fact, there are other transition groups in Penwith, including Helston.

It was Transition Penwiths vision to have a small team whose primary aim is to provide support for sub-group projects, look into funding and be the main decision making body.  This has now been achieved, through adoption of our constitution and holding our first Annual General Meeting (01 February 2009). 

We have currently have four theme groups: Education, Energy, Food/Agriculture, Health and Well-Being and Transport.  We are currently looking at starting an Art group.  If you are interested in these, please contact the Project Officer (through the 'Contact Us' button).
