Transition Totnes Garden Share Scheme....mentioned on the BBC!

Transition Totnes Garden Share Scheme was recently mentioned on BBC spotlight  (click on the link) news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7668344.stm and now have been mention by Hugh Fernley-Whittingstall in his new series.

Garden Share allows those that have gardens but either do not have the time or the knowledge to grow food, to allow those that do not have any garden space but love it, to grow food in their garden.  This means the land is being used to it's full potential and both parties (land owner and grower) get 50% of the produce.

Hugh Fernley-Whittingstall was really enthusiastic about this project and has now set up a national Landshare Scheme.  If you are a grower, landowner, land spotter or would like to facilitate this in your area, you can do so by clicking on this link www.landshare.net/

Or you could start a Forum on this website and see if you can find someone local....It's up to you!

Good luck and get growing!
