Saturday September 18 saw the 2010 “Fair for the Future”, this time held at Ryn Gwari Farm on No-go-by Hill - a mile north of St Just. There were Eco-craft Workshops; a chance to find out about the “Great One-hour SHare” (GOhSH); a Transition Forum; renewable energy suppliers; a Farmers Market; wild-food walks and giant-weaving; as well as a film tent showing relevant films. Dott Cornwall (Designs of the Time) provided opportunities for children and adults to contribute to the design process, to play on prototypes and to take part in fun workshop activities.

There was a particular emphasis on getting kids present and involved in the Fair with horse and pony rides; fire skills, outdoor games and challenges; DJ workshops; and an opportunity to create and use a mountain biking track.
