Plan-it Earth is running a Permaculture Introduction Weekend on the 1st and 2nd of November, with renowned Permaculture teacher Sarah Pugh from Bristol, who is also involved with Transition Bristol.

Head Space are looking for volunteers on the 8 and 15 November to join them in making a community space!

You will learn news skills including:

• Cob wall building
• Lime plaster rendering
• Willow weaving
• Foraging for materials
• You can also be really artistic and assist with bottle windows and mosaics!

Conference: Feeding the World - Are GM crops fit for purpose?

This course is designed principally for non-accountants in the Voluntary & Community Sector to help them understand the key elements of Financial Management. As the title implies, it will not be technical and requires delegates to have limited or no knowledge of the subject. Trainer: David Hancock

Ask the packaging industry what they have to say in response and they will say packaging is necessary to protect food, to prolong its life, and for branding, transport and information.

Renewable Futures is South West England's biggest sustainable energy conference where delegates will see how they can make the most of the huge renewable energy drive to help the UK reach its 2020 renewables target.
