Molly Scott CatoOur Green Party MEP, Molly Scott Cato, will be visiting Penzance on Thursday November 2nd – and speaking at a public meeting - the topic of which will be: What does Brexit mean for the Environment?
Molly is a well-respected MEP who is well-known in the area as a careful listener, perceptive thinker and inspiring speaker. She remains proudly pro-EU, and is doing everything she can to make sure we keep the closest possible relationship with our European neighbours. Molly’s other priorities? To defend the rights of all people wherever in the EU they live, and to push for a clear plan that guarantees social, economic and environmental justice.
Since her election in 2014, Molly has represented the South West and Gibraltar in the European Parliament. Widely respected for her knowledge of and willingness to dig into the detail, Molly publishes regular articles in the national press, and is not afraid to support marginalised groups and to air suggestions that face difficult issues head-on. She speaks with honesty and integrity, and is sure to have plenty to say on November 2nd.
