‘Biogas – Are You Wasting An Opportunity?’

2 Dec 2008 - 09:30
2 Dec 2008 - 15:45
Location:
Genesis Centre, Somerset College, Taunton., TA1 5AX

Biogas technology (anaerobic digestion) is common-place in Germany and Austria with a large number of installations on farms and elsewhere. Currently there are very few biogas plants in the UK, but this is set to change bringing opportunities for farm diversification, reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, much improved options for waste disposal, for both the food and farming industry, and the production of renewable energy.

This event from South West Rural Update will provide information on what’s happening in the UK from December 2008 and will focus on practical solutions for moving forward.
