Penwith Environmental Network are hosting a Cleft grafting workshop as one of their final workshops in their Local Food funded project Penwith Edible Forest. Simon Miles of www.forestgardeningatcornwall.co.uk will show participants how to cleft graft a French variety of chesnut on to the sweet chestnut. The technique can also be applied to other fruit and nut trees. The workshop costs £15 (or £10 concessions and PEN members). Maximum 12 places on the course.
