Songlines and Singing for the land day with Danu

TP are working in partnership with Plan-it Earth Environmental Education Project www.plan-itearth.org.uk and presents:

Songlines and Singing for the land day with Danu

* Where are the songs of our land? What does it feel like to sing for the land rather than about it? What of the traditions of beating the parish boundaries, and singing them? How would it be for you to be a singing guardian of your favouraite place or tree?
* Inspired by the Australian and Sami (of Scandinavia traditions) of singing the land this one day introductory course will begin to address these questions. You don't need to have a great singing voice to come, just a love of the land and a desire to connect with it in a new way.
* Each day will stand alone but for those who attend both on the second day you will be able to continue and develop the work started in June.
* Cost £63 (Part payment in other ways for up tp two clients is possible for those on low incomes, by prior agreement)
* Bring lunch to share, warm and weather appropriate clothes, a hand held recorder if you have one, a cushion (in plastic bag for outside use) and a blanket.
